Even though this wedding took place in November, it gives me all of the Valentine’s day feels! Those lush red and pink florals created by The Farmer’s Daughter, the sweet and romantic look created by Hannah Conard Beauty and the beautiful backdrop of Heinz Chapel, Mellon Park and Mansions on Fifth. I was seriously swooning all day long! I hope that you have the most amazing day with your loved ones!
When I first met Katy and Brian we clicked. Katy was absolutely positive about what she wanted her wedding day to look like and her vision came to life even better then I think she could have imagined. The Omni at Bedford Springs is already an amazing backdrop, but when you add in a bright color palette and The Farmer’s Daughter on florals and Erin Alexander on stationery, you know you are in for a real treat.
Each bouquet and centerpiece was unique and stunning. The outdoor ceremony space was instantly transformed into a colorful celebration of their sweet love story. Because everything was at the same location, Katy and Brian opted to do a first look. What better location to meet your love on your wedding day then then the bridge that overlooks the grand entrance at the Omni. They had a beautiful private moment together before joining their bridal party and family to do portraits beforehand.
The beautiful outdoor ceremony was personal with a close friend officiating and another crooning them with her voice and ukelele and the reception was a celebration with close friends and family with a dance floor that cannot be rivaled.
The entire day was so beautifully executed and we were thrilled to be a part of the day. The details were just so incredible that there are many, many photos of them! Enjoy!
They are off and exploring Greece and Paris, but I could hardly wait to share these until they get home! It was freeeezing in the Laurel Highlands, in fact while Alicia was getting ready it may have snowed for a couple of minutes! It absolutely did not stop them from getting outside to do their first look and it totally warmed up the rest of the day after that!
They were married outside on the porch of Falling Rock at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and the backdrop of colorful trees was breathtaking. It actually started to rain during the ceremony (which was covered luckily) and it was so tranquil.
The reception continued inside after the bridal party entered and started the night off with a group dance to Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off!” The dance floor did not clear the rest of the night!
We had an amazing time celebrating with you and your family and friends! Hope the internet connection is good on your travels! 😉
