Tara is one of my absolute favorite people in the world. You cannot be in a room with her and not catch on to her infectious energy. When she sent me a text with will you be my bridesmaid crossed out and photographer written in, I knew that I was in for the most fun day ever! It is not hard to understand quickly why her and Matt compliment each other so well. I don’t think they left the dance floor or each other the entire evening and being able to have that much fun together is the best showing of love!
The new Pittsburgh downtown Embassy Suites is such a beautiful venue. Tara and Matt opted to do a first look and then we headed out for portraits in the city streets. Strawberry Way and it’s painted street is one of my favorite city spots!
The ceremony with the Babie’s Breath arch by Community Flower Shop was gorgeous. The modern and neutral decor of the Embassy Suites is so elegant. Tara’s hair and makeup was perfectly executed by Justine with Beauty Justified and those awesome skyline invites by Lauren at Noteworth Invitations were the perfect precursor for the weekend. Of course the dancefloor was packed all night with Andy Booth as DJ!
Just in love with these two and their photos! Hope you enjoy!
Even though this wedding took place in November, it gives me all of the Valentine’s day feels! Those lush red and pink florals created by The Farmer’s Daughter, the sweet and romantic look created by Hannah Conard Beauty and the beautiful backdrop of Heinz Chapel, Mellon Park and Mansions on Fifth. I was seriously swooning all day long! I hope that you have the most amazing day with your loved ones!
When Rebecca contacted me to photograph their intimate wedding at Settlers Cabin Park with just their immediate family present, I was thrilled! The ceremony would be short but she wanted close to two hours of portraits of just the two of them,
BE STILL MY HEART!
Even better the weather was absolutely perfect! The sunlight streaming in at the location they chose was absolutely gorgeous and the lush greens that mark the end of summer were the absolute perfect backdrop.
The portrait portion was a dream. They were so comfortable together and everything was just effortless. Enjoy their beautiful wedding day portraits!
We posted a couple of weeks ago the engagement session that we shot in Brooklyn and now the wedding that brought us to the big city! Sara and Michael had a beautiful day with a venue overlooking the Manhattan skyline and despite some rain, their first look and portraits were absolutely beautiful outdoors on the Hudson River.
They had a traditional Orthodox Jewish ceremony and I loved the energy and excitement around the entire wedding day. They moved the ceremony indoors to a gorgeous ballroom and their reception setup was surrounded with windows and views of the city.
Absolutely loved every part of this wedding and having Kristy Lumsden Photography along as my second shooter.
There is not enough room to properly showcase this wedding day on my blog. Brittney and George’s wedding day was straight out of a movie. Everything was perfectly directed, the scene was gorgeous and the bride and groom were absolutely in love and naturals in front of the camera.
Brittney and George chose to see one another before the ceremony in a first look (which is quite literally my favorite thing in the world!) We chose Pitt’s campus as the backdrop before their Heinz Chapel wedding and the lush greens and beautiful stone were the perfect backdrop. I am in LOVE with their portraits and I had a narrowing down what to share.
After a beautiful ceremony, Brittney and George chose to stop at the lock bridge in Oakland to place their own lock to commemorate their wedding day and the bond of their love. Then we headed to the Club at Nevillewood where a gorgeous reception had been set and a night of dancing awaited.
I loved everything about this wedding day! So happy to share it with you today!
